Male figure in grey marble, the top of the head broken off in prehistoric times. Very schematic arms and hands, a bow carried across the shoulder with an arrow, a belt of opposed half-circles, a chequered pouch fringed with triangles holding a dagger, a fringed loincloth and a criss-crossed torso. Reused as the east slab of cist M IX; its worn surface points to long exposure in the open.Image and text after the publication “Stèles préhistoriques – La nécropole néolithique du Petit-Chasseur à Sion – Musées cantonaux du Valais”.Petit-Chasseur 2021 report (PDF, in French).
