Grey marble statue-stele, the only one in the necropolis engraved on both faces, probably at two different times: a man on one side, with a bow and arrow slung across the chest and a chequered torso, a woman on the other, with a three-motif necklace and a body covered with lozenges and dovetails. Reused as the north slab of the dolmen M XI chamber, in anatomical position; the top was broken off to fit the chamber.Image and text after the publication “Stèles préhistoriques – La nécropole néolithique du Petit-Chasseur à Sion – Musées cantonaux du Valais”.Petit-Chasseur 2021 report (PDF, in French).
