Sericite marble statue-stele with a very worn engraving made of remarkably regular 3 to 5 mm impacts. Female figure whose head was broken off when it was reused: a wide pectoral above a garland of triangles, a buckled belt, a torso chequered with squares and chevrons near the elbows; originally the whole slab was pecked. Reused as the west slab of cist M VIII, lying on its left side, engraving facing outwards.Image and text after the publication “Stèles préhistoriques – La nécropole néolithique du Petit-Chasseur à Sion – Musées cantonaux du Valais”.Petit-Chasseur 2021 report (PDF, in French).
